For Olympic athlete's, so much of what we do is dependent upon the support we receive from others. Without sponsors it is very difficult to train full time without having to also work. I know few who manage to do both.
I am so grateful to all who contribute their expertise, time, funds, favors or products so that training can be my sole focus. Some recent additions to my team include Pasha’s, ChicaBands, VitaCoco and Boston Bill Glasses. I am looking forward to the opportunities created by these partnerships.
Pasha’s- Known for not using preservatives, Pasha’s is a healthy Mediterranean-style restaurant with 5 location’s in Miami. I am so excited about them signing on to provide the nutrition I need to compete at the level required for me be successful. I can be confident in any choice I make when selecting an item from their menu. www.pashas.com
Chica Bands- Some of you may have noticed I am sporting a new hair style and with that I have been trying to figure out how to contain my hair on race day.Well Chica Bands crossed my path just in time to save the day. They are cute head bands with a sporty function, now I don’t have to worry about it slipping off or squeezing my brains out. We are currently in the process of designing my very own custom Chica Band with a portion of proceeds to benefit a charity of my choice, so stay tuned for that. www.chicabands.com
VitaCoco- As some of you may have read I have committed to being 100 percent supplement free, that is right not even vitamins. With this being the case, eating my decisions are very important. After practice when others would reach for something like a powder shake, I will be turning to good old-fashioned coconut water for replenishment. High in potassium and low in calories, VitaCoco is great! Vita Coco's an all-natural, super-hydrating, fat-free, cholesterol-free, nutrient-packed, potassium-stacked, mega-electrolyte coconut super water! www.vitacoco.com
Boston Bills Sunglasses- With the South Florida sun always shining I have some neat orange (my favorite color) glasses to protect my eyes and keep me looking cool. www.bostonbill.com
Lots of things in the works so be sure to check my site often for: the "I can't do it alone" t-shirt, tickets to races, my scheduled appearances in your community, free merchandise, an opportunity to have lunch with me, etc. as well as how my training is coming along. www.laurynwilliams.net
