Bank of America and Johnson & Johnson sponsored Lauryn Williams during her 2008 Olympic Campaign. Chosen not only for her competition record and integrity, but as a bright, young and friendly personality, Bank of America selected Lauryn to be one of a select group of US athletes to represent the brand in the lead up to the 2008 Beijing Olympics and during the games themselves, as part of the home town heroes campaign. Johnson & Johnson used Lauryn heavily in their pre Olympic marketing campaigns as one of the official USOC partners.
